Research On Design And Application Of Enterprise Quality Information System And Its Subsystems

This paper is based on a part of the joint project "Design and Implementation of Enterprise Quality Information System (EQIS)", which is presented by Crosby College (China) Research Center and Northwest BenNiu Group cooperation (XBBN). The research is focusing on design and application of the EQIS and its subsystems.Firstly, the relative theory and technology of quality information management are presented, such as Quality Management, Quality Engineering, Computer Aided Quality system (CAQ). Then the quality information integration is discussed, a model of EQIS and detailed subsystems' design are also provided, especially focusing on hardware and software integration, finally implementation of EQIS is discussed, and applications of several modules of the EQIS in XBBN are proposed.The information technology has brought new challenges to the modern quality management, the enterprise's production and operation mode is continuing transformed. The EQIS designed and proposed here has practical meaning for the company to strengthen its competition and adapt to the dynamic environment changes, it also has the important value for the research and application of information system.
