A Design Of The Measurement And Control System Based On CAN Bus For Oil Distribution In Oil Storages

With the development of the production scale in the oil chemistry industry and the innovation in the oil current system of our country, the requirement of oil storage automation becomes more and more abroad. As an important part of the oil storage automation, the oil distribution automation is also in urgent need of new system designs to meet the modern automation. After analyzing the typical designs of the oil distribution automation, according to the main problems of the oil distribution systems nowadays, and considering the application of the field bus in the oil distribution automation, the author presents a design of the measurement and control system based on CAN Bus. In the paper, the total design of the system, the compositions of hardware and the procedures of software are explained in detail. And according to the characteristic of CAN2.0B protocol, a high effective, reliable, and well functional protocol is formulated to fulfils the demand of this system.
