With the rapid development of modern radar system,the radar resolution has been continuously improved,and clutter in the radar's working environment has become an important factor affecting radar performance.Radar clutter simulation has become an irreplaceable technology in radar system design and testing due to its advantages of low cost,high flexibility,and high controllability.In order to improve the clutter suppression ability in radar system production test,massive simulation clutter data is needed to support it.At the same time,due to the development trend of radar multi-channel and large bandwidth,the amount of data collected in the actual work of radar is very large.Therefore,high-speed and large-capacity storage systems have become an indispensable part of radar systems.According to the requirements of the project,this paper studies two technologies of radar clutter modeling and simulation and high-speed large capacity storage system.The radar clutter sequence simulation with different amplitude distributions and simulation of the chirp radar clutter echo signals are realized,and a high-speed large-capacity storage system suitable for the radar system of this project is designed and implemented.In the part of radar clutter modeling and simulation,the basic concept of clutter and multiple classification methods are introduced in this article.Then detailed research and analysis are performed on different amplitude distribution models and power spectral densities,and the main methods of radar clutter simulation are studied;then different simulation methods are used to obtain coherent clutter sequences with different amplitude distribution characteristics.Finally,the scattering element superposition method was used to simulate the massive clutter echo data of the chirp radar.This data can be used in the radar design and test phase to provide data support for improving radar clutter suppression capabilities.The high-speed and large-capacity storage system includes a memory board and a control system.The storage board uses m SATA solid disk as the storage medium,and Zynq series FPGA is used as the main control chip.The memory board adopts a modular design idea,and independently designed modules such as DMA controller,data routing,PS command interaction,and FIFO,which realized the data interaction between the host computer and the memory board,and realized the high-speed storage of large amounts of data on the memory board.The control system is based on the PS command parsing module,which realizes the control command interaction between the host computer and the memory board,and implements self-check,record,playback,import,export,delete,and initialization functions on the FPGA.A large number of data simulations were completed with the Matlab software in accordance with the radar clutter simulation method described in this article,and compared with the actual data and theoretical models,the feasibility of the simulation method and the correctness of the simulation data were verified,which met the requirements of the clutter simulation project.At the same time,the high-speed and large-capacity storage board has also been tested for a long time,and a large number of high-speed data are continuously read and written in a harsh working environment.All control functions are normal.It was verified that the data stability,read and write speed,and physical characteristics of the high-speed storage system meet the project requirements.
