With the development at fall speed of communication technology, network technology and semiconductor technology, Internet technology is permeating video technology and embedded system field permeate gradually. Internet has bring great convenience to people's study and life, has shortenned the distance between men, and has already become an indispensable part in people's daily life.The more important thing is that the embedded equipment's demand for Internet is urgent day by day.Realizing Internet interconnection is embedded system focus and important direction of development this present.This thesis takes monitoring system of the digital video as the background, combines embedded system technology, computer network technology, DSP control and develop technology into an organic whole and carries on deep research and discussion to embedded system's network access .At first, the article sums up the recent developments in network access of embedded system both at home and abroad. Then introduces the access technology of the embedded system all-sidely; Studies and discusses the embedded TCP/IP protocol in emphatically; Chapter 4 introduces the software development environment (DSP/BIOS, NDK and programming method) in detail.At present, the single chip network access equipment basically adopts foreign products, there are few domestic products,So studying the single chip network access based on TMS320DM642 has certain practical and reference meaning. Now, using existing chip to realize steady, convenient network access on embedded equipment becomes the first extremely urgent thing of video monitoring research. Chapter 5 realizes one simple network application to accomplish network access.and explains the basic principle, makeup and structure of embedded equipment. This thesist researches and discusses the single chip network access's course and method through introducing concrete access course and method. Finally,after operating, testing on the developing platform, prove the credibility and stability of single chip DSP's network access and transmission,and realize the real-time MPEG2 video flowing transmits.
