Research And Realization Of Net Video Based On DSP

The great achievements in modern information society ask for higher desire of communication. People are no longer satisfied with communicating in speeches and words. What they need is multi-media communication with speeches, words and pictures together. This is a brand-new communication method after telegraph, telephone, fax and E-mail. Videoconferencing system is one of these new communication methods. It can communicate point to point, and multi-points as well. It takes many kinds of multimedia information such as video, audio and data on the same line. It makes real-time intercommunication among multi users become true, and it also shares the circumstance of the attending people, the content of the conference and kinds of documents to each meeting room in the way of visual news. This is a fast, effective, increasing, widely used new communication business.H.323 is new arisen video protocol based on TCP/IP. It has a very nice perspective.This paper analyzes the key technology in H.323. For the high expense of the protocols, so H.263 and network drive are chosen as the study objects. First of all, H.261/H.263 is emphasized and realization of the H.323 video meeting on DSP platform is introduced, also the application of the DSP/BIOS included. DSP/BIOS is explored by TI for C28xx C5xxx C6xxx, which enables DSP to accomplish multi-task operation. Besides of this, the principle of RF5 frame is analyzed in details. RF is the application program frame which makes sense for high efficiency algorithm and the standard multi-channel data program. The program is validated by LCD.The hardware of network and NDK is analyzed in details aiming at the DM642 which is fit for processing video in high speed. Socket API and DSP/BIOS are used to program the network drive based on TDS642EVM.At last H.263 and network drive are combined, thus a simple terminal is shaped, which fulfills the function of data collection ,encoding and network transmission ,also the program optimized included.As the huge scope of network video and high expense of each protocol, the author explores in the junior level based on DSP as the result of simple terminal formed. Although it makes great sense and play important role of direction and reference for those persons doing the network video exploration.
