Enterprise Application Integration(EAI) is of seamless business function through sharing and exchanging data between separated systems. EAI is the integration of many technologies at higher software reusing level. Several middleware technologies can strongly support to develop EAI. For example, Message-Oriented Middleware can be used to exchange data reliably and safely among systems and an application can get access to database through database middleware. J2EE framework provides a perfect and platform- independent environment for data integration and business integration. Many technologies of J2EE framework have been used to integrate enterprise applications. Programmers can use JMS API for exchanging business data reliably and safely. Then they can develop resource adapters based on JCA to integrate with back-end EIS. For integration with applications of cooperative business, they can make use of Web Services easily. The paper analyses merits and disadvantages of the primary integration technologies, such as Message-Oriented Middleware, distributed middleware and Web Services at firstAccording to this analysis, the paper build a solution for EAI based on J2EE which includes asynchronous, reliable and secure data integration with JMS, synchronous business integration with JCA,B2B integration with Web Services. The solution meet needs of internal integration and external one synthetically. At last,an EAI system of electronic commerce enterprise is developed according as the solution. The system mainly realize data collection by transporting XML document on message system, develop a JCA resource adapter for authentication system, package order system based on stateful session bean with Web Services. This EAI system validates feasibility of the solution.
