Research And Implementation Of Web Services Technology In The Integration Of Comprehensive Monitoring System Of Train Operating Safety

The increasing of IT Systems and extension of application fields leads to the emergence of heterogeneous systems, which highlights the critical importance of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI). Now, more and more enterprises make the implement of EAI in order to make information share and inter-operation among heterogeneous systems possible.The systems in railway field are also need to be integrated for the existence of a large amount of comprehensive and distributed systems (CMSTOS). One such system is Comprehensive Monitoring System of Train Operating Safety. It containing lots of heterogeneous sub-systems and dealing with various businesses, thus we need to adopt EAI technology to integrate these sub-systems to get a comprehensive system containing the function of data monitoring, data analyzing and decision making.Traditional EAI Solutions often base on interface-invoking or EAI middleware such as CORBA,DCOM and they are effective in some condition. But interface-invoking system lack flexibility and EAI middleware-based systems are tight-coupling and complex, limiting their use in integration for large system. Web Services technology bases on standard protocols and its characteristic of well-encapsulated, loose-coupling and dynamical integration, make the implement of inter-operation supported and standard-based EAI solution become possible.In the paper, we mainly study the implement of web services technology in the integration of CMSTOS. The aim of this paper is to introduce a service-orient integrate solution to meet the need of flexibly and dynamically integrate.
