Because of electronical technology's development,smartcard is following of course. The COS of the card is the focus.COS is short for Chip Operating System,it is developed around the smartcard for the different service.When we design the COS,it must consider memory of the card.The international criterion(7816 and 14443) prescribe the function to design and develop.The COS's main function is to control the information exchange between the smartcard and the reader, Manages in the smart card the memory and completes each kind of commend in the card processing. And, carries on the exchange of information with the reader is the COS basic request. In the exchange process, the exchange of information protocol which COS follows includes two kinds at present: Asynchronous character transmission T=0 and asynchronous packet transmission T=1. The contactless uses the exchange of information protocol is T=CL, But COS should complete the management and in the control base the function is makes the stipulation in the ISO7816-4 standard.This topic main research is to research smart card operating system COS,and the devise it.it includes four functional modules:(1) Transmission Manager (TM): Mainly uses in the fox message whether by the correct transmission, this part and uses communication protocol related;(2) Secvrity Manager (SM): To the information which transmits carries on the secure inspection and processing, prevents the illegal interception or the invasion;(3) Application Manager (AM): The judgment receives the instruction the feasibility;(4) File Manager (FM): The checking order's operation jurisdiction, completes finally to the order processing.
