With the rapid development of computer technology and network technology, the internet has been widely used, so as to realize high speed information transmission and resource sharing. Embedded system is widely used in electronic products, smart instruments and control equipment. It is an inexorable trend that the embedded technology and the internet will combine together. Internet-based remote supervisory system is the combination of information network and control network. It completes the monitoring and control tasks based on network, by which the monitoring and control range can be greatly extended, and moreover the control technology will be more networkized, more distributed and more open.On the basis of research of fieldbus technology, remote supervisory technology and embedded web related technology, this paper presents a design solution of an embedded web-based remote supervisory system for CAN bus. The system structure is given, the CAN bus application system and the web services based on CGI technology are developed, and the elementary functions of remote supervisory system are realized.Firstly, this paper introduces the fieldbus technology, especially CAN network, including its evolution, features, application and development trend. In Chapter Two, remote supervisory system is discussed about its history, concept and development trend. Two types of remote supervisory modes are discussed and two types of web-based remote supervisory system are analyzed. And then the network structure of the embedded web-based remote supervisory system for CAN bus is given. Chapter Three discusses the related key technologies of embedded web server, including embedded system, embedded web technology, embedded data base technology, web server-side development technology, embedded TCP/IP protocol and network security technology. Chapter Four describes the application system design and realization of CAN bus. The transplantation of μC/OS-II operation system and the design of tasks are described in details. Chapter Five gives the design of the embedded web server, and introduces the user interface of the system. In the last part of this paper, the researche work of the paper is summarized and the future development and the application foreground of remote supervisory system are analyzed.
