With the increasing network technology the remote network control plays a more and more important role. At the same time, the demand for remote network control grows day by day, so people want to use the simple browser to remotely control the machine which is far away. So it becomes urgent to supply a remote control system with security, reliablility and low price based on the internet.Based on the previous questions, the article brings up a remote control system, which makes use of the SOC chip (SEP3203) with uclinux OS and TCP/IP. The system can remotely control the machine's power on/off which is far away via the internet's browser.First, the article presents the overview of the whole remote control system's architecture, include market demands analyzation, working principle, communication chain presentation and software/hardware modules partition, and all of which instruct the following detailed work. Later on, it's the analyzation of the detailed work. First, it's the hardware design, which has two aspects of intelligent socket side and Web server side, and mainly includes the hardware architecture of intelligent socket and the hardware design of primary modules (network, serial and storage). Second, it's the software design, which also has two aspects of intelligent socket side and Web server side, and mainly includes presentation of uclinux OS and TCP/IP protocol, design of device drivers on intelligent socket (network, serial and storage), realization of the daemon process on the power socket and the realisation of ASP browser, COM component and the daemon process on the Web server. Finally, the article gives the test of system function and performance, and with the attributes of the platform, it also gives the method of optimization.After the efforts over one year, the system of remote network control has passed the test. The users can use the internet browser to control the machines' power off/on far away, and there is no need for user to go to the field.
