With the development of the modern electrical technique, the value of the audio processing becomes important. Audio processing can be used in many places including network, telecom, intelligent instrument, industry control and so on. But audio processing has not become a subject in many schools for the lack of experiment equipment and skilled teachers. This thesis focuses on the implement of the digital audio processing in the DSP experiment kit. Two parts are described in the thesis, one is the theory of digital audio processing, and the other is the implement of digital audio processing in the experiment kit. The first part of the thesis makes a brief introduction of the audio process technique, includes its history and the difference to the analog audio. The theory, classes and standards of the audio compress is described in the following parts. The digital filter is the base of the audio processing, the theory and simulation of IIR filter and FIR filter is described in details after the brief introduction of each filter.The above theory is implemented in the DSP experiment kit. So the second part of the thesis is the description of the involved hardware and software about the experiment kit. The hardware includes the juncture of the chips and the involved bottom control codes. At the end of the second part, the source codes of implement the PCM algorithms, the ADPCM algorithms, IIR filter and FIR filter is presented after the theories of digital audio process and the DSP experiment kit.In the end of the thesis, a summary is presented and some suggestions are forward to improve the experiment kit.
