Study And Application Business Intelligence System Based On OLAP

Because of the information trend the number and the capacity of database becoming more and more amazing. The build and study of BI system can make full use of data sources at hand and transfer data into information, and extract wisdom from it to provide profits.With the development of the operate data to analysis data, End user is not satisfied with quest of OLTP querying database and user analysis is not satisfied with quest of SQL basic query to big database. The results of user's decision analysis must rely on the calculation of relation database. But results of a query can't satisfy a designer's request. The full use of integrated data must rely on the use of the OLAP to predict, to analysis and to make decision, which is based on data warehouse.The paper introduces and studies a BI system based on the data from chongqing songzao coal-electricity co.ltd. It is the comment of status and management result of a enterprise and prediction of the future.In this paper, we introduce firstly the concept of BI, Data Warehouse and OLAP. Then we raise a method to design Data Warehouse system based of inspect aeration, and analyze the system characteristic. Last, we provide a scheme to realize the system.The main subject of this paper is: study BI, Data Warehouse, theory of OLAP and select system tool; design the system structure; construct the data warehouse, design to realize the OLAP; introduce the data module of the BI system; the structure of inspect aeration data warehouse, analysis and predict related data.
