Research On Distributed Workflow Management System Based On Web Services

Workflow management technology is an essential technology for business process modeling, business process simulation, business process optimization, business process management and integration. Taking the development of a type of aeronautic product as research background and analyzing the characteristics of modern corporations— network distributed, integration with old information systems, the structure of a distributed workflow management system is put forward to satisfy the new demands of modern enterprises for workflow management information system. First, the paper analyses the present study of Workflow Management System and the new demands of enterprises for Workflow products and introduces the technology of Workflow and Web Services. Secondly, the structure of a distributed workflow management system based on Web Services is proposed; the characteristics of the system and the key technologies are described; Third, the distributed workflow model based on formal language is put forward and the modeling tool is designed; then, the paper designs the distributed workflow engine based on Web Services and describes the design of the components of the engine. Lastly, the distributed workflow management system is applied to the design of a key component of the aeronautic product.
