In recent years, CSCW (computer supported cooperative work) technology develops increasingly and makes a difference in the way of life and work of human. Establishing cooperative work team is one premise and basis of implementing cooperative work. At the present time, there are two way of establishing work team. One is "passive mode" using user information, which is efficient, but not satisfactory to users and deficient in success odds. The other way is "positive mode", which costs time in some sort, can guarantee contentment. There are two fulfillments of every mode, by system or by people. Actually the passive mode by system is favorable, and is applied on a large scale. The positive one by people burdens users. There are few feasible scenarios for implementing positive mode by system, limiting its application and generalization.FITS/CL framework (1997) puts forward using automated negotiation to establish cooperative learning team, which resolves problems of satisfaction, as well as lightening man. There are still some deficiencies in FITS/CL due to its model. As a result, it is difficult to put to use. In spite of that, its idea reclaims a new research for the way of establishing team.In order to find out a new practical way of giving attention to the two aspects, satisfaction and efficiency, and carry out the positive mode of establishing team, we think over to explore a feasible approach, utilizing agent-based automated negotiation technology in the course of establishing work team in CSCW.In the area of economic business, automated negotiation has received considerable attention.
