Modern publishing critical theories is the special representation of critical spirits to the modern publishing activities. The critical spirits means clear-headed questioning consciousness, profound rational reflection and critical proposals. Modern publishing critical theories is based on the background of social culture and the publishing reformation should rely on the composition of the forces of all kinds of social factors, so only the strength of publishing is limited.The first chapter analyzes the practical background of publishing activities, compares western media critical theories and publishing activities, brings forward the core contention of modern publishing critical theories.The second chapter reviews the history of reading from which the historic relation of publishing and reading is testified, and demonstrates the feasibility from distribution conception to reading conception. Though there is dissimilation in reading activities in the contemporary era, publishing should contribute more energy for solving it.The last chapter all above analyzes the publishing groups under the impulse of operative reading and the enormous book store resulted from the relative shrink of living reading. In the end piratical books is emphasized which is the fringe problem related both reading and publishing.
