The Application And Research Of Data Warehouse In Communication Network Malfunction Management

With the development of communication continually, traditional database technology can't meet the requirement of dealing with vast data in all kinds of industries. Now, data warehouse and data analysis technology appear, which have high efficiency of data management and analysis, and support highly scientific decision. Because data is increasing terribly and communication operations are complex, data warehouse technology is necessarily exerted in communication network management.This entire article is included six chapters. First of all, data warehouse development is recommended. By the analysis of telecommunication network management, the article cores and purports are mentioned. In the second chapter, data warehouse concept, features and structure are all described, and compared with traditional database. In the third chapter, two data analysis technologies, OLAP and Data Mining, are introduced and compared. The fourth and fifth chapters are the application of data warehouse in telecommunication network accident management, and are important parts in the article. After the building of data warehouse and using of data analysis technology, network malfunction locating model and influence model are built. Furthermore, two models are displayed and evaluated with some examples. Finally, there are the summarization of some features in telecommunication network management and the outlook of data warehouse.In this article, data warehouse is established. Network malfunction locating model and influence rate model are built by data analytical technology. So there are some new methods of preserving network quality.
