Multimedia teaching is the important current of didactical instrument reformation. Traditional Multimedia teaching is mainly about the teachers' revelation to students, and there are multitudinous localizations in interaction of teachers and students, communion of information and operation. Web-based multimedia courseware would become the chiefly direction and instrument for its vivid interface, bulky information storage and the interaction of dynamic page.< is one of the main basal course of inorganic material specialty. Introducing Web-based Multimedia teaching would make teaching more visualize, lifelike and convenient for comprehension and grip of students. In allusion to the Web-based Multimedia courseware's execution requirement of this course, applying Document Object Modal(DOM) and Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language(DHTML), data searching technology of Regular expression, database modeling and management, to the system point of view, this paper studied the execution mode, system framework and design principle of courseware execution Platform; to the technology point of view, studied the design and implement of each function module, and placed stress on several pivotal keys in this system: WYSIWYG(What You See Is What You Get) editing, code editing, the Middle Ware of interaction, web site management and the database techniques of modeling, accessing and linking, and succeeded with the development of Web-based Multimedia courseware platform. Based on this platform, actualized integrated and efficient design, include the manufacture of courseware pages, editing of content, management of local web site, deploy of courseware and maintenance of remote web site.
