The high-performance data acquisition technique is the foundation of digital signal process machine for radar. This dissertation discussed the design and implementation of high-speed data acquisition system based on PCI bus in detail.First, the dissertation presented the transmission system design scheme, and respectively discussed the modules, including the A/D. FIFO Memory. Logical ControK PCI Interface and D/A module. For every module, the dissertation discussed the reason for selecting the chips. the ways and the problems for using the chips. Then, using the tools of DriverWorks and Visual C++, designed the driver and application program. The system can provide up to 20MHZ acquisition speed and 12 Bits acquisition precision. Because the card includes the D/A module, it can be used as the apparatus to produce the radar signal.
