With the rapid development of digital technique, digital signal processing has become a key technique of detecting and imaging of radar in modern radar technology. Because the prerequisite and foundation of digital signal processing is real-time echo acquisition and storage, so data acquisition and storage plays an important role in digital signal processing. The data acquisition and storage system Based on PCI bus has the advantage of high performance, low cost, easy to use, auto—configure, high reliability and better expansibility. Due to its-high flexibility and compatibility it has been applied widely to the fields of rader, weather , earthquake forecast, avigation, communication and etc in recent years.The paper is based on the research of the data recorder of Malaysia SAR .We introduce the design and realization of high-speed data acquisition system based on PCI bus. Because the speed of data transfer which is required by user is very high ,and the bandwidth of PCI bus (132MBytes/sec) is finite .besides windows is not real-time operating system , so it is difficult that dependable and real-time recording data.
