The data acquisition and storing system is the key part of a testing system, and it is has profound impact in improving the test system's performances. The data based on the PCI bus high speed transferring, improved the transmitting speed.The structure and general features are introduced in this paper, and the designing process which applies the core part_ PCI interface PCI9054 is given, after analyzing several PCI interface circuits designing.This paper studies the PCI high speed data acquisition and storing system mainly in the areas of hardware and driving software. The hardware is made up by the signal conditioning circuits, the A/D converting module, the FIFO buffering circuits, the PCI interface, the FPGA control circuits and peripheral circuits. The detailed information which about the choosing of the components mentioned above and the realization of the circuits are discussed, as well as the key problem of hardware designing, finished the system's hardware design.In the developing of driving program, the basic driving program therory and the driving developing model is introduced, the designing of the WDM driving program is specially studied. After comparing of the three driving program developing tools, the "Windriver" is selected, the specific steps of developing and driving program's installation are fully analyzed.The practical tests of the hardware and the driving program demonstrate the identification of the system in practical use and the designing requirements is reached.
