A Primary Research On Supported Environment For Wearable Computer

At present, a single wearable computer can not be used very popular in any fields such as industry, military or personal using mainly because there are many limitations on itself, such as restricted hardware, software, communication ability and some immature technology it must be take, so we can say that it is still in the great early period on it's developing life. To make the wearable computer walk out this puzzledom, we present the idea of Supported Environment for Wearable Computer(SEWC). In this paper, we do studies on SEWC and some basic issues about it. Our main works are listed below:At present, domestic research about SEWC are at frist stage. This paper, giving a summary on SEWC based on the collection and reading about large numbers of professional journals. The summary consists of studies about definition, function, characteristics and key issues on SEWC.This paper made a special study on the infrastructure of SEWC. The work including a cognition on requirement analysis about infrastructure of SEWC, a classification and framework analysis about devices in infrastructure of SEWC, a whole architecture design about the infrastructure of SEWC. All of it made reference to Intelligent Environment study by Oregon University.On reference to many valuable papers about Context , Context-aware and Context-aware application models, this paper giving a classification on Context Information will be used in SEWC, presenting a Context-aware application model able to used in SEWC, designing the architecture about this model, and lastly describing a use case about this architecture in the infrastructure of SEWC.On reference to JINI Service, this paper made a special study on Service in SEWC. The work including a requirement analysis on Service in SEWC, a way of using JINI Service in SEWC, a design of simulation task and simulation platform to validate this way, and a implementation to this simulation make use of Jini starter kit v 2.0.
