The Design And Implementation Of Charge System For Hospital

With technology advancing rapidly,the informational tidal wave also sweeps over medical treatment .HIS has become means by which the leader can manage hospital effectively and impove level of service.HIS is a trend of societal development,and the inevitable requestment which the management of hospital calls for.With the rapid development of medical science and technology and the incessant renovation of medical equipment,hospital management becomes more complex and difficult,the hospital needs better and better technology in management, gerentocratic experience and traditional pettern of management are far from the requestment of modern hospital management,and are not fit for the step of modern hospital development. Today society enter into the informational age , information construction is an effective approach for the hospital to enhance modern management and to build a developmental road with" high quality , more efficiency and little dissipative".Therefor, the hospital information has been historical trend of the modernization of hospital construction and development .The appliaction of HIS in the hospital management is more and more abroad, its effect is more and more strong. HIS have been for many years, it go through three ages. Some developed countries constructed HIS a long time ago and now they develop the third age of HIS .Moreover ,time of HIS construction is not long ,our HIS technology falls behind theirs , a lot of hospital develop the second age of HIS ,but they are far from requirement of hospital development .So it requires us to the third age of HIS . The paper firstly describes importance of HIS , course and actuality of HIS development, some problems during HIS construction.Secondly , it introduces our developing HIS and tools which we use to develop HIS . The system includes more than one hundred modules . It holds out clinic information management , finance charge information management and administration information management . It is composed of subsystem such as CIS ,LAB ,PACS and integration query system . Every module and every subsystem shares information with each other and transfers information among them to meet hospital requirement by ERM and order . It develops interfaces with VB, and handle data with M and cache database, we can lookup rapidly data which we want because M can solve complexity of hospital data and cache database is more dimension database. Thirdly, the requirements of the charge system are analyzed .It describes the requirements of the charge system and analyze them ,finally bring forward methods to sovle problem .The system is composed of four modules such as counting module,deposit management , invoice managementand system maintenance .Fourthly , the charge system general design is illustrated .The part is the emphasis of the thesis . charge system is an important part of HIS, is mostly source of hospital income and is the emphases of hospital financing management .It deals with patients' charge . Fundamental requirement of hospital for it is consistent data .It interprets some speciality terms whichare involved in the thesis, It describes all tables'structure and relation among them ,it detailedly introduces course of every module dealing with operation and how to realize functions.Finally , it describes reasualt of charge system carrying and sums up experience during practice . When cashiers settle acount by hand in the charge module ,because of influence of lots of subjective causes,it is inevitable to come forth various mistakes and leads to phenomenon of some charge which is not counted .The phenomenon is not inevitable or reduces greatly if computers deal with operations. Functions of the charge system put up good practicability ,it is sufficient to control real-time price of medicine based on the nation medical system's reform.
