The Research And Application Of Data Warehouse System Of Finance In Campus

It's an inevitable thing to every OLTP system that the data become into a big "data mineral resources" because of the increasing quantity of data. Having so large a "mineral resources", it will be very regrettable if it can't be fully used.Data Warehouse is just the technology to help users to digging the "gold bullion" of information from the "data mineral resources".This paper discusses the application of data warehouse in financial work in campus and describes the procedure of how to extract useful data from OLTP system and build a data market or data warehouse after cleaning and transformation to serve for financial decision through analyzing of the data.At first, this paper analyses the actuality of financial information system of campus and the existing problem, basing on these, puts forward the requests of data warehouse. Then the important technology and theory were introduced in the following part, for example, the concept and charactor of data warehouse, the procedure and method of building a data warehouse, the concept and modeling method of OLAP and the design and operation of the multidimensional data cube. Besides these, the deep level application of data warehouse梔ata mining is introduced simply.In the part of realizing the data warehouse, this paper use an instance in campus to describe the procedure of loading source data, building multimensional data cube and presenting the result of analysis. Some method of presenting data are introduced , including using the data browser of microsoft analysis services, Excel, combining technology of data warehouse and web.
