First, the real-time monitoring system and MIS system of the power communication network has been studied in this paper and the function demand for the two also been analyzed and explains. Next this paper discussed the middleware, especially has a detailed analysis and discuss for real-time CORBA ORB TAO and ACE (Adaptive Communication Environment). Third, based on the study of power communication network and MIS system, the solution and Consult models has been provided. According this model, and alarm information database of Liao Yuan power office as data source, used the VC++7.0 tool and adopted TAO's naming service and notification service, I have successfully realized the fault alarm information real-time send and receive, and primarily realized the connection with the MIS system in LAN. At last, the project was studied and summarized. And this paper also studied the deep feasibility that used TAO platform in the power communication network management.
