Study On The Technology Of The Network Collaborative Design And The System

The Network Collaborative Design is one of the most important research field in the Computer Supported Collaborative Work (CSCW), and is also a key technique to realize the virtual enterprises that make use of the manufacturing resources (manufacturing equipments, the knowledge and technique of the designer and database etc.) which are distributed in the world. In the aspect of CSCW, the models of CSCW are put forward successively in abroad, and many universities have obtained many research results in the development of the CSCW. But the most systems just are prototype systems, there are no any commercial collaborative design system that can meet the needs of the manufacturing business enterprises.This paper studies in depth the key technology of Network Collaborative Design on the base of collecting broadly the relative research material, which relies on the National 863 Plan Project of China.In this paper, the present research state in the world of the Network Collaborative Design is summarized. The structure of the Network Collaborative Design is put forward. The theory of the synchronal application sharing, the technique of multi-media exchanges, the technique of instant communication, the technique of whiteboard and the technique of the management of the Network Collaborative Design are inquired. Facing some problem which exsit in the current research, such as, the method of the synchronal application sharing, how to increase the speed of the respondence of the application sharing and how to deal with the video and audio data in the multi-media exchanges, some preferable solutions are put forward.On the base of above studies, CSCD_tools which is adopting C/S model and the composite application sharing is developed. This system can provide a safe collaborative design environment for application.
