Application Of Collaborative Technology Research

The means of supporting result discussion and modification among cooperator are needed in order to support better group cooperative design working. As to the need, there have some limitation of nowaday cooperative tool. Such as whiteboard tool, it can only support thinking interchange, but can not support result discussion and modification among cooperator; Application sharing can support result discussion and modification among cooperator. It is difficult to apply practically for cooperator only series work, meantime there have some technologies were not solved downright.To resolve the above problem, a new tool called application cooperation tool is researched and built based on the analysis on application sharing. By the tool, group member can direct interoperate and can discuss and modify the design result cooperatively.For the design result is produced by traditional application software. To using the traditional application software adequately, the best methods of building application cooperation tool is to reconstruct the traditional application software. There have two cases: (1)traditional application software with source code; (2)traditional application software without source code. As to the first, the reconstruction working is relatively easy for the internal information is known;As to the last, the reconstruction working is very difficult for the internal information is unknown.
