The wide use of computer has deeply influenced the people's style of working and living. Especially with the combination of Computer Science Technology, Networks Technology and Multimedia Technology, the methods and the scope of the computer application has been broadened greatly. In the current Information Society, the adoption of E-business is made necessary for those companies who wish to survive and develop in the environment of network economy. Remote E-Business Collaborative Negotiation System based on distributed networks environment is one of those very important parts of the application of E-Business, and such system can help the enterprises cope with more other enterprises with more efficiency. This thesis has paid much attention to the implementation of such negotiation meeting system.Because of the immaturity of current technology and the insufficient understanding of the negotiation model, there are many limitations to the current application systems. The Computer Based Collaborative Business has been the focus of the E-Business Research for a long time, because of its low cost when applied and its mature technology. More important, CSCB has excellent collaborative ability, which enables any body from anywhere to communicate, cope and collaborate during anytime. However, the application model of the CSCB is quite different from the traditional face-to-face business negotiation that happens in meeting room. How to combine the collaborative ability of the CSCB with the modern network technology and how to construct the Remote E-Business Collaborative Negotiation System to meet the requirement of theE-business is still a great task that needs to be solved.From the collaborative properties of the CSCB and the practical application requirements, we propose and construct an abstract model of the Remote E-Business Collaborative Negotiation System as the base for our future implementation. We divide such model into four aspects, physical space, social space, cognitive space and information space. In the thesis we analyze all the components of the four aspects we mentioned above thoroughly, and finally we give the formulized description of the model for Remote E-Business Collaborative Negotiation System.We consider that the adoption of data conference system technology is an efficient way to build our CSCB Collaborative Negotiation System, through the analysis of the application model we propose. In this paper we have done some research on the technologies of the date conference, the concept, categories and the architecture of the computer conference systems, even more, we analyze the H.323 and T.120 protocol series to get a more clear concept of the computer conference system.As to the implementation of our Remote E-Business Collaborative Negotiation System based on the architecture we propose, we adopt the method based on components. By using the Community Service Components and Meeting Service Components from LotusSametime, we implement a prototype of the support environment of the CSCB, named VBN (Virtual Business Negotiation), and we give a detail description of the functions of the system. Finally we get the conclusion that such system can fully support the requirements of the CSCB Remote E-Business Collaborative Negotiation Systems through our test work.The main contribute in this thesis made by author can be concluded as below:(1) Give a clear description that the CSCB application model has the Space-Based property, and Make more detailed description to the four sub-spaces under such application model.(2) Base on the application model of the E-Business and current technologies, we propose a model that well define the property of the CSCB Distributed Remote E-Business Collaborative Negotiation Systems, and give a formalized description of such model at last.(3) Study the relevant background technology of computer conference system.
