With the development of Radar technic, ARPA (Automatic Radar Plotting Aids) can display directly the course and speed of target ship and get the DCPA and the TCPA of the ship, so it is applied widely. The trainning of how to use Radar is an important side in marine education. Radar simulator simulates the shipping navigating and collision avoidance under bad visibility by making use of computer emulation technic, in this way students can learn how to make correct decision in complex marine circumstance. IMO has passed STCW78/95 and emphasized eligibility evaluation and regarded training on Radar and ARPA as compulsion speciality training item that every seaman must attend. It called for making marine training and eligibility evaluation in simulator that IMO approbatory, so researching on Radar simulator is important.Now on Radar simulator we usually make Radar mark by hand. In this way, we get result in long time and great error. We need a standard result on how to evaluate a student's grade. Now on Radar simulator we cann't get the standard result and this makes error on evaluation.at the same time, we can only get DCPA and TCPA on Radar/ARPA. We cann't get result on how to change course and speed to make collision avoidance, this can help little on collision avoidance decision.The article aims at the default on Radar simulator and implements the standard result on Radar simulator by making use of MCU.the main production is below:First, we calculate how to chang course and speed on the destine point by MCU. We get the new course and new speed on the destine point,we get the point to resume original course and speed, we get the distance and azimuth to resume original course and speed on given course and speed, the six essential: DCPA, TCPA, distance, azimuth,real speed and real course.Next, we transmit the original data and the result between MCU and PC via serial communication and carry out the communication between MCU and PC.Because the result made by mathematic calculation is exactitude, we can regard the solution made by MCU as standard result of Radar simulator training. At the same time with the development of mordern technology, watercraft steerautomatization comes true. The "non-paper plotting" that mark by PC instead of by human, can decrease the cost of hardware and. The result of the article can also be a part of intelligent ship collision avoidance and a base of "non-paper plotting".
