Radar simulator is the key equipment for radar design,system simulation,and performance testing of the whole machine.By calculating the target characteristics,target motion attitude,clutter,etc.with digital methods,and then adding the physical system,it can effectively test the radar function and performance.The semi-physical system is also a powerful tool for system design,which can reduce the cost of system development.However,in the radar system simulation experiment,the radar simulator involves many simulation calculation units,the calculation is complex,and the calculation amount is large.To truly simulate the random characteristics of the signal,a real-time simulator is required.Therefore,for the real-time problem of radar simulator simulation,this article first analyzes the key factors affecting the real-time performance of radar simulator based on the theory of radar clutter and the composition of radar signals,and then through the design of parallel architecture and parallelization of clutter algorithm Processing,under the premise of ensuring accuracy,increase the calculation speed and data processing speed to achieve real-time,and finally add the obtained clutter echo signal to the target echo signal to generate the radar echo signal.The main work content of the thesis is as follows:1.In the real terrain scene,the clutter power spectrum is obtained by simulation based on DEM data.It mainly includes: a brief description of the method of calculating the relevant parameters of the terrain scattering unit based on DEM,and then judging all the terrain scattering units in the same distance ring and Doppler ring according to the distance and Doppler resolution,and superimposing their clutter power spectrum,The final clutter power spectrum image is obtained,and by judging whether the center position of the main lobe clutter obtained by the simulation is consistent with the theoretical analysis result,it is proved that the result is accurate and effective.2.For the clutter algorithm proposed in step 1,the whole system is divided into four modules,and the calculation amount of each module is counted separately,and then the calculation amount that the system needs to complete within 1s is calculated,and the calculation amount is the most complicated and obeys the K distribution.Take wave as an example,its calculation magnitude is e13,and the existing fastest processing unit suitable for real-time signal processing has an average number of operations of 1e8times/s.The analysis results show that the algorithm is complex and the number of calculation points is mostly clutter.The reason why the signal cannot be generated in real time.3.Aiming at the problem of the inability to generate real clutter signals in real time,based on the advantages of multi-CPU multi-process computing,the clutter parallel algorithm design and parallel architecture design are carried out to realize the parallel processing of the clutter algorithm.4.On the basis of ensuring that the simulation results are correct,transplant the algorithm to a parallel machine,analyze the performance of the algorithm,calculate the speed-up ratio,and analyze the same algorithm based on different scale scenarios and different amplitude models,analyze the performance of the parallel algorithm,and calculate the respective acceleration ratio.
