| "Drive industrialization with informatization, promote industrialization withinformatization" has become a widely-accepted strategic policy, the role ofinformatization enterprises during the process of manufacturing is becoming more andmore outstanding. However, the level of informatization in most small and mediumenterprised (SME) in our country is rather low, in which each applicated system is an"isolated island" without an information platform to provide tools of informationsharing and interaction. In this dissertation, the theories and methods ofmanufacturing information platform for SMEs is systematically studied. On the baseof these theories and methods, we developed an information platform for an SME andimplemented it in the SME. Reasearch of this dissertation focuses on followingaspects: 1．On the basis of the study of the trend of the manufacturing and thencharacteristics of SEMs in our country, the requirements of the informatization areanalysed and life-cycle model and frame model of a manufacturing serviceinformation platform is established. 2．Hierarchical module and integratede frame module of application integrationon the base of Product Data Management (PDM) are systematically studied. 3．The description and release of manufacturing tasks and manufacturingresources are systematically studied and information modules to describe them areestablished. 4．A method to match the manufacturing task and the manufacturing capability ofenterprises is established to support the manufacturing cooperation on the Internet. 5．Based on above theories and methods, information platform for a SME inTianjin based on PDM is developed. The information platform is implemented in theSME and made the applicated systems in the SME running on an integratedinformation platform.
