Reverse engineering, which improves and recreates based on original design, is a burgeoning branch of academic study. According to the reverse object, reverse engineering is sorted into real object, software and image. While real object reverse engineering can be divided into touchable measure, untouchable measure and projection-photography in the light of the mode of measurement. In this paper, the writer will research into the real object photography reverse engineering.Recently, there are many methods to realize real object photography reverse engineering such as phase approaching of projected grating. In this paper, a new method named as measure of projected gridding is put forward. This method need neither complicated system calibration nor camera calibration algorithm because of a new arithmetic which can transform the 2-Dimension point in the photo into 3-Dimension point in real object.Based on these characteristics, the method is fit for the real time and quickness demanded situation. In this paper, the writer will introduce the principle and realization process based on a head model.
