The Research And Design Of The Home Gateway Based On The Embedded UClinux OS

How to realize the high-speed net surfing, video ordering and remote control is the present focus of research. The thesis put forward the design scheme about the home network system arround the main purpose of networking, intelligentizing and informationization to home appliances.Aimming at the development of the vital equipment -Home Gatewaye in the home network, this thesis makes a deep research and discussion and puts forward the realization scheme about the remote control to home appliances in the home network through the analysis and comparison to the recent technology.In the thesis the distributed intelligent network control system wich is based on the Internet is put forward and the software and hardware design of the Home Gateway which is based on uClinix OS is discussed including chip characters, circus design, software flow, etc.. Then, using the embedded technology and protocol transformation technology from TCP/IP to field bus as vital technology, the new scheme about transparent access from to Internet to the home network is put forward. On the basis of the protocol transformation, a suite of computer remote control protocols which are highly universal and convenient in the field of industry control are put forward comparing to all kinds of the recent remote control technologys and protocols. The software system structure using client/application server/database/field control system as the core is described. At last application of VDB in the software system is introduced.
