In recent years, the field such as underwater navigation ocean exploration locating of underwater object and underwater communication develop very fast. Underwater acoustic is often used as the carrier of information transmission, so a set of underwater acousetic data acquisition equipment which has high performance and can adapt underwater acousetic's feature is necessary to underwater acoustic experimentation. Since the situation underwater is very complicated, we must adopt the data acquisition equipment which is adaptive to the abominable field underwater. All of these make us to make the data acquisition equipment has a wide dynamic range and have the utility to acquire the signals which have large amplitude range. To reduce the cost necessary for the research on it , we must make the system has all-purpose performance and flexiable extending ablitity. All of these requests are the kernel of the paper.In this thesis, a set of underwater acousetic data acquisition equipment is discussed, which adopt DSP of TMS320VC5402 and FPGA of FLEX10K50E as the system's data processing and data transmission and logical control core. Other IC devices with digit interface also is adopted in it and so the system has not noly very high data transmission rate, but also very high commonality and flexibility.The work finished in this paper is as follows: 1. System's hardware program has been designed, include analogue circuit part, digital circuit part and other hardware circuit interface. 2. Hardware logic of FPGA and CPLD devices in system has been designed with VHDL language. 3. DSP's software of system has been designed, include DSP' s software and DSP's bootloader.
