Underwater acoustic data acquisition equipment is necessary for underwater acoustic experimentation. Since the situation underwater is very complicated, we must adopt the data acquisition equipment which is adaptive to the abominable field underwater. All of these make us to make the data acquisition equipment to has a wide dynamic range and have the utility to acquire the signals which have large amplitude range. To reduce the cost necessary for the research on it , we must make the system to has unversial purposes and flexiable extending ablitity. All of these requests are the kernal of the paper. The work finished in this paper is as follows:1. In designing analogic circuit, we adopt programmable filter MAX262 to meet the system's command. After the step, we can make the signal's frequency width is wider and noise level is lower. To make the signal's amplitude to meet the analogic to digital device's command, we adopt the MAX551 to finish the gain control.2. Because the data acquisition equipment researched in laboratory must be taken out to the field to acquire the experiment data, we must make it to work independently. If we can't make it, the application of the equipment will be very troublesome. The liquid crystal module introduced to the data acquisition equipment solves the task perfectly.3. In order to extend the use range of the system equipment in the future, we introduced the TMS320VC5402 DSP 1C (Integrated Circuit chip) produced by TI corporation and PLD (Programmable Logic Device) produced by Altera corporation. It is very convinent to upgrade the system because these integrated circuit chips adopted in it can be programmed on them.4. To increase the flexibility when transferring large qualities of data, We use optical fibric interface and USB2.0 interface and IDE harddisk interface to solve the task perfectly. All of these measures above increase the flexibility and applicability of the system equipment largely.
