Study On CAPP System And Process Resources Management Information System For ChengDu Construction Machinery Group COMPANY

As the bridge of design and manufacturing, Process Planning is very important for product equality and manufacturing cost. Being the source of information in the process of product, the process resources of manufacturing plays a key role in the integrated CAD/CAPP system. The object of developing process resources management system based on network technology is to share process resources information and offer relatively coherent process resources. It can improve processdata's veracity and consistency in whole enterprise, and adapt to computer and network's application and development in manufacturing.Being associated with the project "CAPP System in network for ChengDu Construction Machinery Group Company" which we developed with SiChuan university, author participated in the design and development of CAPP system. Configuration and an implementing scheme of distributed process resources management system for mechanical manufacturing is also put forward. This paper's main conclusions are as follows:1. In view of the requirements of process planning in CIM environment, the framework and function model of CAPP system is designed. The integrated methods between CAPP and CAD,CAM is discussed.2.This paper presents the meaning of building distributed process management in integration CAPP, particular set forth the technology principle and implement method of process resources management system, then puts forward the function need and concrete implement scheme. The process resources management can manage the enormous increasing process resources data of ChengDu Construction Machinery Group Company.3. This paper puts forward the system structure, function modules and effect ofprocess resources management system on basis of distributed ideas. The management system realized the function such as query, add, delete and modification manipulation and so on. The system has the advantage of simplicity and convenience in manipulation, high efficiency for lookup and visual for query course.4. Aimed at character of Process Planning for Construction Machinery, the integrated CAPP tool system combined with process planning, process resources management, process mangement, process documents management was successful developed. It has been proved to be satisfied with practical need of process planning, increase process planning efficiency for one year application.
