Study Of Information Modeling And Process Decision Making In Capp

This paper mainly elaborates the methodologies and key technologies of part modeling and manufacturing resource modeling and machining operation selection modeling in CAD/CAPP integrated system. In this paper, the extended entity relation data model is employed to construct the model of part and manufacturing resource model for the first time. The two integrated models solve the unified description of information and realize information sharing among sub-systems. The author presents the description approach combined dominant entity with recessive entity for geometric feature, which solves the questions of feature recognition and feature transformation. The model is of very important reference value to the unified information model. The manufacturing resource model enables every sub-system to make decision utilizing the latest information of manufacturing resource, which makes it important that taps the potentialities of manufacturing resource and improves the function of manufacturing system. In the paper, the author establishes the model of operation decision, in which directed test fuzzy statistic is employed to define the membership functions of machining operations. It avoids two faults of process decision based rule deduction that are very rigid and one feature has only one machining operation. The application of the fuzzy deduction provides CAPP with intelligence and reduces the man interference. Through the development and the debugging of the prototype system, it is indicated that the information models are effective and feasible. The above-mentioned study enlarges the theories of the information modeling and process decision and is of very important theory value and practical value to the integration/intelligence of CAPP.
