The Research Of ERP And Production Data Management In ERP

This thesis introduces the origin, growth,present status and future of Enterprise Resourse Planning and the applications of computer technologies within the business administration. In ERP software system, we have to deal with a lot of data accurately. Production data management including BOM, Work Center, Technological Process, Working Procedure and so on, is one very important component of ERP software system. And the relationship of elements of production data management is described in this thesis. We design the model by Rational Rose and implement it with PB and Sybase database. This software system procures the expected effects as well as the positive comment from users in the field-operations.
