DSP has feature of its special function of high speed processing to digital signals, celerity, low power, high integration and so on. So, if we can apply DSP technology in the design of data acquisition system, the speed of data acquisition and the function of data analysis will be improved largely.This thesis mainly discusses the data acquisition system based on general DSP TMS320LF2407A, which can be applied in working-condition monitoring system of production cell. This system adopts the technology of DSP, which improves the speed of data acquisition and strengthens the function of data analysis. At the same time, it also has low cost, high performance and fit together etc. At the parts of communication with PC, it adopts USB bus&RS-485 bus interface to improve the speed and distance of data communication.Firstly, this thesis introduces the importance and necessary of rotating production cell condition monitoring system applied in industry production, and its development at home and abroad. Then it presents briefly the structure of monitoring system. The main contents of the paper include system analysis, R&D of software and hardware.In the hardware design of monitoring system, high-speed and simultaneous A/D converter, DSP, USB bus interface chip, static ram and other chips are used, which makes high speed data acquisition, data upload realize and allows multi-channel to be sampled simultaneously. In the part of software, the following will be introduced pointedly, the design of DSP program; the development of USB bus interface's firmware program under Keil C51.At the end of the paper, it verifies the feasibility of this system through a large number of experiments. And conclusions and evaluations are given about this system.
