Study On The Developing Entertainment Media In China

In recent years, the development of entertainment news and entertainment media has been one of important phenomena in press circles. While academic circles has pay little attention to that. The thesis systematizes these concepts involved, defines the concept of "developing entertainment media", then compares the situations of China and of western countries where the media originated from, particularly does some case research on three typical developing entertainment media in china. The aim of this thesis is to provide some advice for the sound development of developing entertainment media in China, especially on the background of China's entrance to WTO.This thesis is divided into five sections. The first section, or the preface, offers the author's reasons to choose the developing entertainment media as the research subject, the research frame and the methods of research. The second section systematizes the concepts, presentation and characteristics of entertainment news and developing entertainment media. The third section analyses the general situations of developing entertainment media in China, particularly puts up some case research on three typical examples in Chinese mass media. The fourth section analyses the reasons of the emergence of developing entertainment media in China, and makes a synthetic estimate of developing entertainment media with different angles. The last section sums up the dissertation above, and provides some advice on research in the future.
