Design And Implementation Of Distributed Netflow Inspection Based EJB/SNMP Tecnology

Nowadays Large scale, complexity and heterogeneity is charicter of computer network which propose new requirements of network management(NM). Traditional centralized NM systems can hardly meet such requirements. Therefore, it's neccessay for us to investigate and find out new, effective NM model and technology for development of practical NM system.With the middleware spinging up, Enterprise Java Beans(EJB) is used in the design of large system more and more. Nowadays many application system adopt the method of Multi-Tier architecture. In this paper, it is builded that a novel networkmanagement model------ distributed network management model based on EJB/SNMPtechnology, and it is studied and discussed in detail from functions of architecture to key technology such as compliment of entity beans, session beans and snmpserver. The model adopt four tier architecture that is custom tier/Web tier/logic tier/data tier. Among of them, logic tier is of key and difficult in design. It is bridge between interface tier and data tier which respond requests from custom, execute tasks, get data from data tier, and return result to interface tier. In this model, config management EJB, fault management EJB, performance management EJB, cost management EJB and security management are classify by functions of network management, which adopt distributed idea. These advantages are reducing redundance by using component repeatly and system manager can easily configure renewedly the load of system because component have no relation to position and application in network.On basis of the network management model based on EJB/SNMP technology We design and implement a set of system inspecting netflow , which target is enable manager inspect easily netflow picture of any day, week, month and year of router or swich, so as to watch network condition, manage, maintain network, and improve used efficiency of network. From practice, the implemented network management model based on EJB/SNMP technology on one hand inherit the advantages of network management based Web,on the other hand it has characters of distributed of network management, such as heterogeneity, distribution, scalability, flexibility, extensibility, robusticity, and it enhance the efficiency of NM.
