Research Of Key Technologies For Creating IETM Through Logistic Support Analysis Record

Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) is a digital manual which is compiled in accordance with some standards and by using information technology and equipment design data. It is submitted to the user together with equipment interactive application. Then, it can assist user with implementing equipment maintenance, and improve equipment support capability. However, there is a flaw that IETM is not considered in Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR) of the same type equipment being in service. Then IETM can not meet various complex support demand of equipment in application and maintenance phase. Therefore, this paper researching on data character of LSAR, and transforming LSAR data into IETM data based on the S1000D standard. That is because they can help solve the problem. Among the study and the main works are as follows:1. Analyze and summarize research status of IETM and equipment support at home and abroad, and explain clearly role and significance for creating IETM through LSAR.2. Analyze data character of LSAR and information requirements of IETM based on S1000D standard. Research on the relevance of data module (DM) of the S1000D standard based on Extensible Markup Language (XML) and LSAR data. Aiming at exchange problem of LSAR data and XML document, study on mapping relationship and data conversion algorithm between them. Study on storage technology of XML data being in IETM and quality review of IETM data.3. Research on process of creating IETM through LSAR based on the S1000D standard. Design architecture and main functions of IETM system, and discuss integration of IETM system.Transforming immediately LSAR data into IETM technical data, is one of the key technical issues of accelerating information construction of our army equipment support. Transformation problem between LSAR data and IETM technical information based on S1000D standard is studied. The research work help achieve interationrequirement and sharing requirement of equipment support information, and lays a good foundation for further study for IETM and integrated support logistics system.
