The Development And Research Of The Expert System For High-voltage Insulating Equipment

The performance of high-voltage insulating equipments has much influence on operating condition of power supply system. The differentiation of performance depends on the data accessed from all sorts of experiments on the equipments. The nominal rating, past experimental data and operator's experience can be served as differentiation standard. Because the data provided by manual record in the past long term cannot play an important role and brought a lot of disturbance to the users, so we developed this system for dealing with the situation mentioned above.This system is a database management information system based on network designed for high-voltage insulating equipment nameplate information and experimental data for electric power system .It contained record, memory, maintenance and inquiry functions, compared current experimental data with past data and standard data, and then evaluate performance of equipment on basis of inspection determination and prompt user.All information of the database can be shared by the workstations connected to the database server. So it can reflect operating condition of the equipment timely, accurately and scientifically.LAN and dial up network are served as system platform to adapt flexible terminal environments, so the database server and RAS server must be configured. The local database can be applied when the communication is suspended. Client/Server mode is adopted by the application. The Server is run on the platform of Windows NT 4.0 and the Client on Windows 95/98.In order to keep operation steadily, the program is optimized to decrease the communication data.As a complex database management information system based on network with C/S mode, it involves in technology of network, database, development tools, software and hardware platform. All these will be concluded in the paper.
