| On the basis of research to a mini type hydropower station comprehensive automation system, this paper has accomplished the research & development of the computer supervision & controllerThis system can be divided into remote unit and local unit. In the Local Control Unit (LCU),with the help of PLC ,we achieved many assignment, such as the automatic control program, power modulation connecting to the power network at the same term , monitoring the rotate speed of generator , and so on. Also, combined with the control of hydraulic turbine, we have raised a new way to reduce the input points of the PLC. The Local Control Unit (LCU) can receive commands from the remote unit and run according to the given load curve or run with the optimization of the upward or backward position. The remote unit realized kinds of control menus of the station's control system, especially the connection of the software of the King Configuration to the database designed by Excel, which have made up the defects of the report forms of the King Configuration. This paper also finished the design of communication's drive programs between the remote and local unit, the intelligent management of report" forms, etc. And based on the analysis and researches to the existent problems of classical PID control algorithm of hydraulic turbine governor, we put forward the assumption of fuzzy PID controller, and did some simulation. The adaptability and robustness of the fuzzy PID control algorithm came out good enough to meet the requirements of complex system, such as non-linearity, timing, non-least phase and so on.
