The fuzzy-control theory is a promising branch in the field of control theory. The basic difference between fuzzy-control theory and common automatic theories is that fuzzy-control theory does not need to establish a precise mathematics model, it applies fuzzy theory to the approaches and strategies of human being's knowledge, experience, consideration, responding and controlling process and realizes the fuzzy-control in the so-called fuzzy controller.As for a real time, non-linear and complicated industrial controlled object, in which some parameters are unknown and changing slowly, or having delay and occasional interference, has many controlling points and the controlling points affect each other in some degree and the controlled object or process model.The embedded system is an embedding applied computer which is faced with an industrial-controlling object, being embedded in the industrial-controlling application system. Single Chip Microcomputer is an one-chip applied system, completely designed according to the requirement of embedded system, which can meet the demands of facing the controlled object. The embedding applied system, reliable on-the-spot performance, has a brilliant controlling quality, which has been fastly developed with most varieties and utmost quantity embedded systems.After optimal design, a modern bridge-building machine has a simple body, but its working condition and surrounding are much worst than before. Therefore, it is necessary to equip a monitoring system for the whole machine. This system is based on the fuzzy-control theories, designed with a horizontal monitoring model, taking a Single Chip Microcomputer as the core of data-processing, according to requirements of the embedded application of the computer monitoring system which can ensure the security and reliability of the bridge-building machine. The embedded system, based on fuzzy-control theory, will play a more and more important role in engineering technology.This thesis has described the system in detail. In the first part, giving thebasic structure and technological parameters of the system, this thesis has analyzed the fuzzy-control theory, as well as designing approaches of fuzzy controller, and proposed a horizontal monitoring model.This thesis has studied the hardware components and types of the monitoring system theoretically, and presented a circuit draft of the monitoring system. In order to improve sampling and controlling precision of the system, 12 bits was adapted for the A/D converter in data collecting section.The software of the controlling system of this project is designed according the designing principle of modernized structure. The whole system consists of three parts: Main Program, Data-sampling and Processing Program, Keyboard Interruption Service Program. Each model was designed and adjusted both in software and hardware aspects for meeting system demands.In order to improve the data-processing speed, this system has adopted master-slave structure, in which 2-single-chip-microcomputers communicate in parallel. The horizontal monitoring model is implemented in the slave computer, and the master computer takes the data in an interruption-search method, so that the data-processing speed can be improved.This project has taken anti-interference measures systematically in techniques. The anti-interference hardware is a main part of the system anti-interference design, and is the foundation of the system anti-interference facilities, however the software is only a complement of the former.It is well known that in an industry Measurement And Control SYsteM (MACSYM), an MCS-51 can pick up analogue data as well as switched data, the Central-control computer monitors all controlled places in the control-room. That is a real-time, local-network-based multiple user system and distributed control system. In the final part the thesis discusses how to use serial port of MCS—51 and MODEM to realize the distance communication .
