The Research And Implementation Of Enterprise Office Automation System Based On Exchange

With the development of information technology, OA (Office Automation) system plays a more and more important role in enterprise' s daily work. OA system is expected to meet the needs of constantly changing work and to realize the information interchanging and sharing as far as to scientific management and decision-making.In this paper, the concept, basic character and development of OA are introduced and its related technologies including group-ware, electrical mail service, workflow and cooperative computation are shown briefly. Workflow technology is discussed detailedly, which includes its concept, sort, analysis and implementation in OA system. A workflow model based on direct-graph is defined and described.The emphases on this paper are the design and implementation of an Exchange_based Enterprise Office Automation (OA) System. In the analysis and design of OA, functional requirements are analyzed using structured method and rapid prototyping method, system security is discussed and some workflow modules are designed using workflow technology; In the implementation of the system, the system structure, platform and developing tools are considered, then the data storage and access in Exchange Database is discussed and implementation of workflow in the system is given.In the end of this paper, the main works are summarized and the application of the system is introduced. The solution of Exchange_based Office Automation System is better for those middle-scale or small-scale enterprises that use Microsoft serial productions.
