The Research And Application Of Mobile Agent-based B2B Collaboration Electronic Commerce

Agent technology especially multi-agent technology provides a brand new method for the analysis, design and implementation of distributed open system. After being gifted a new characteristic-mobility, an agent will possess more advantage and elasticity. Agent software has outdone object-oriented technology and client/server technology, and as an emerging distributed network-computing mode it will promote the development of information technology enormously.In this paper, there are introduction, analysis and study of the concepts and technology of agent and mobile agent. A special emphasis has been put in the reasons and advantages of their applications in electronic commerce. Based on the theories above, a model of mobile agent-based B2B collaboration electronic commerce has been studied and developed. The corresponding commercial courses have also been expounded. And the challenge and the development trend that the mobile agent technology faces have been discussed. With this kind of design, the system turns the course of long-distance telecommuting into native one and reduces the occupation of the bandwidth and improves the response velocity and its dependability greatly. The introduction of mobile agent technology will provide a new approach of development for electronic commerce.
