Filament winding machine is the key device which uses continuous fibre reinforced plastics to wind produce, its primary function is through which continuous fibre(such as glass, aramid, carbon fibres and wire)or fabric is wound on the mandrel surface on which produce is shaped according to needed pattern laws by special mechanical moves and controls. This paper studies CCFW.It has design main axis system, carriage system and control system in concept and in general based in compute control Filament Winding Machine's constitutes and structures, giving two project of hardware of control system, and set forth relative software.I create five groups of 3-D graphic libraries for parts, tell of model-created process of part, how to create layers and set up color render for part, how to modify features, how to deal with the failure of feature-constructed, and the creating process of every feature can been displayed dynamically. In the process of designing, I modify components conveniently and timely by managing associative and parametric technology; Using an involute gear as example, I use C Language to edit and amend corresponding programs to control parametriclly the shape and the size of gear by using Pro/Engineering program blocks; making use of image snagging software Snag IT 5.0 and icon edit software Icon Edit Pro do individuation icons.I have design three 3FW-1000 types, two FW-500-Dtypes samples of Filament Winding Machine for customer based on parts graphics, and make compares of advantages and disadvantages for the same types of produces. The assembly process of every sample can been displayed dynamically, and exploded views can been made; I can exchange part of assembly according to demand; A drawing for a three-claw chuck is also made, an interchange of Pro/Engineering and AutoCAD is gave.Finally I sum up the jobs which have been done, indicate the jobs which have not been done.
