The composite material has been widely used in the field of aviation,aerospace,petroleum,chemical industry due to its excellent performance.The fiber winding process has flourished as the preferred forming process for the composite products of pipes and containers.Winding technology in the fiber tension control technology is the core technology in the winding process,the development of fiber winding composite material forming process for high-performance tension control system to improve the quality of the winding product is of great significance.In this paper,Fuzzy-PID-based fiber winding tension control system is designed to improve the performance of the tension control system in the winding process of composite material.The tension control system is designed to control the tension control system when the yarn speed changes from high to low or from low to high,Tension set point tension control when there is low accuracy,large fluctuations in tension problems.It can improve the work efficiency of fiber winding and product quality.This paper combines the advantages of position and direct feedback of the two kinds of tension control scheme,the use of Panasonic PLC as the controller,the Angle of the Sea Section sensor and Regency pressure sensor as a detection element to Yade off electronic proportional valve and A5 AC Servo motor for the implementation of components,constitute the position tension double closed-loop control system.The coupling characteristics of yarn speed and tension,as well as the time-varying characteristics of the yarn radius were analyzed.The transfer function model of the control system was established and the stability of the control system was analyzed.The fuzzy control combined with variable speed integral PID control method is applied to the tension control system to overcome the problems of quantization error,dead zone adjustment and PID parameter adaptability in fuzzy control.Using VS2013,the tension control system PC software was developed to realize the yarn tension design,the setting of tension setting,the monitoring of tension variation,the calculation of control system performance and the yarn break warning function.The FPWIN GR 2 development environment was used to write PLC-based software,which realized the functions of communication with host computer,data acquisition and processing and control algorithm.Based on the tension control system developed in this paper and the gantry four-axis winding machine,the cylinder winding experiment and the pressure vessel winding experiment were respectively carried out.After the static data analysis,the volatility analysis and the calculation of the adjustment time,it is verified that the fuzzy variable speed PID combined with the position double closed-loop control scheme can solve the problem that when the constant speed switching tension setting value is higher than the high speed Low or low to high speed when the tension control of low precision and tension fluctuations big problem.At the same time has a good dynamic and static properties,fiber winding process can achieve constant tension control.
