Research On TV Internet Access Technology Based On Home Server And Design Of TV Website

With the development of Internet technology and the improvement of the living quality of the people,intelligence and information have already become the development trend of the new generation appliance-Information Appliance. It has huge and very practical value to study Information Appliance and TV Internet Access.This thesis derivates from a subtask of the project The Development of Architecture of Information Appliance and Design of Home Server .In order to solve the problem in using PC or searching information on Internet for some people,it focuses mainly on studying the TV Internet Access under home networking circumstance.This paper analyzes the technologies of Information Appliance,TV Internet Access,dynamic website,Database and so on in detail,in order to solve the problem that the current Internet page can't be browsed by the common TV,we present the corresponding solution to these problems and design the special TV website based on home server. The information of TV website collected from the website column based on PC,which can be browsed by TV through the background conversion of TV website. The organization of TV website column is simple and easy to use. The common TV audiences can choose Internet information conveniently by a remote controller.In the paper,depending on Home Server circumstance,we put forward WINDOWS NT + IIS platform and the design norm of making TV web pages. Combined with Object-Oriented programming technology and Web Database technology,intelligent download of TV website information and background programs which can be saved in the database automatically are exploited. It is realized that the website information can be automatically announced and updated.
