The Research And Application Of Groupware

Groupware is an essential application environment for supporting collaboration, and groupware technology is a new field based on the guidance of CSCW This thesis analyses architecture of two typical groupwares. The security of groupware has some features such as across multi-level and over multi-Operating System, so that its security is discussed from the viewpoints of network, server and database. Reasons that cause groupware the best platform for OA are given and an actual designed and developed OA system is presented. Finally, several future trends of groupware are supposed.
